“The Coming King”® Bust
Jesus Christ, King of Glory Revelation 19:11
By Max Greiner, Jr. ©
“The Coming King”® Bust is a 105% life-size bronze sculpture by Max Greiner, Jr. of Kerrville, TX. This imposing composition was donated to THE COMING KING FOUNDATION by Max and Sherry Greiner for the glory of God on 11/9/12.
This sculpture depicts Jesus Christ returning in glory at the end of time, as a mighty warrior and king. Throughout the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, dozens of prophecies state that the Jewish Messiah will one day return to Jerusalem as a victorious warrior. Christians believe that Jesus Christ, who is the Lamb of God and the Messiah, will return to earth in power and majesty. However, this time He is coming as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords.
Greiner depicted Christ with fire in His eyes, a Shofar in one hand and the Sword of the Spirit in the other. His robe is blown back and on it states in Hebrew: LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS. Christ is wearing a seven parapet crown which features the symbols of His authority: the Lion, the Lamb, the Dove, the Menorah, the Vine, the Alpha, and Omega. It also depicts the crown of thorns. Christ is shown with the sword raised high, which signals the moment of His return to earth.
One day, a full-size version of the sculpture, with the cloud and white horse, will be placed at the top of the mountain in Kerrville, just south of “The Empty Cross”.
Max and Sherry were called by God to create this soul-winning Sculpture Prayer Gardens through a prophetic word given on 12/9/01, by Dr. Mahesh Chavda. After the evangelistic vision was confirmed by God, the Greiners founded THE COMING KING FOUNDATION. The free parks are a means to bring glory and souls to Jesus Christ.
