“The Coming King”® Bust

King of Kings and Lord of Lords Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness, He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. Revelation 19:11-13

This sculpture depicts Jesus Christ returning in glory at the end of time, as a mighty warrior and king. Throughout the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, dozens of prophecies state that the Jewish Messiah will one day return to Jerusalem as a victorious warrior. Christians believe that Jesus Christ, who is the Lamb of God and the Messiah, will return to earth in power and majesty. However, this time He is coming as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords.

Greiner depicted Christ with fire in His eyes, a Shofar in one hand and the Sword of the Spirit in the other. His robe is blown back and on it states in Hebrew: LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS. Christ is wearing a seven parapet crown which features the symbols of His authority: the Lion, the Lamb, the Dove, the Menorah, the Vine, the Alpha, and Omega. It also depicts the crown of thorns. Christ is shown with the sword raised high, which signals the moment of His return to earth.
